okayy so i set up my 29 tall. I bought a new penguin 150 filter for it. I'm wondering if I have too many fish in it already .....

11 dalmation mollys(fry - medium size)
5 comets ( putting those in the 130g when they grow)
2 bettas(male and female)
3 black skirt tetras

The bigger tank just seems so much more live.

You are close to the capacity limit when the fish grow up, and you're beyond the compatibility limit right now. The tetras will nip the fins of the male Betta, who needs to be isolated from the female and introduced only for spawning. In addition, the goldfish will not do well in a tank that's ideal for Mollies... or tetras....or bettas. Mollies are a popular aquarium fish, but they need conditions that are not ideal for other live bearing fish.

Is the tank properly cycled? Can you buy a few more aquariums?

You can put more angelfish in the 130, but I'm not sure the silver dollars are compatible.

Silver dollars are a beautiful fish and will get pretty large. I had some once and found them to be an easily frightened fish that loves plants. They would also occasionally turn into a big swirly whirlwind when they would fight. At least I think that's what they were doing. There were little glittery scales floating everywhere. I guess my point is that they may not be best with angelfish. It is your tank though. I would love to see a photo.

Has the male Betta started to go bald yet? That's what happens to us male humus beans when we get surrounded by that many females.

ROFL!!!

I had what I was sold as 3 silver dollars, but they never got as huge as what I really thought they ought to... Come to find out they were Buenos Aires Tetras... non technical name... B A Tetras... As in Bad A** Tetras... They really live up to their name... They're mean! They fight constantly!

The Mollie's would be happier with a little salt in their tank, which the other fish wouldn't...

A Comet? Are you speaking of the Koi Comet? If so... They're a goldfish, and coldwater... Not going to be happy in a a tropical tank... Especially in an Angel tank, where the water is even warmer than a regular tropical tank...

Sounds like it's fixing to be MTS to me... LOL!
