    It's a yellow-eyed rockfish actually. I am not sure why they are orange, I wouldn't think they would be too stealthy and good at hiding on the ocean floor. It's kind of crazy because when you catch them, or the regular rockfish (the other brown/green longer ones in the pic), you can't throw them back because the quick trip up from being caught actually causes their swim bladder to burst. Halibut you can put back because they don't have swim bladders! Shocked You should see the rockfish when you bring them up, their eyes are all popped out, kinda sad. Did you know that that is how the fishfinders work? They detect the swim bladder? That's why you can't find halibut on them.

    That's interesting. I had no idea about the connection between swim bladders and fish finders.
