My Boyfriend’s dad has had this aquarium for forever way before I came around, I always find it fascinating to look at and watch how the fish interact with each other every time that I go to his house. THe angelfish actually seem to be the dominate ones of the tank, but he has some placo that only come out at night, I wish I could have gotten some pictures of them. He also has mollies, platys, tigerbarbs, etc. Sorry if i spelled some wrong(don’t kill me!) I think that some of these fish liked having their pictures taken(lol!)

Angelfish are considered the queen of the freshwater aquarium, and Discus are considered the king. It’s probably because they’re both exotic looking and sort of tricky to keep.
ok i have a three platys and three baby platies and a algee eater and bottom feeder and one of my adolt platies lost its tail how did that happen
The algae eater could have done it; adult algae eaters don’t eat algae but they do nip on other fish after the lights are out. If your fish are otherwise healthy, the algae eater is the number one suspect. If all the fish have clamped fins and are gasping for air, they have a disease or parasite. The best way to fix that is a series of partial water changes. Low water quality usually makes fish vulnerable to diseases and parasites; partial water changes improve water quality.
could my fish mixed bread becase mt littlest baby was the tineeyest one was fat ont the day we found out her tail was gone could the baby have done it
Genetic problems are always possible, but it’s far more likely that the algae eater has been at work. I’ve read about instances where all of the fish in an aquarium got sick and died. Only the algae eater was left fat, dumb and happy.
haha all my fish but the one that lost its tail is still thar oh and a guppy i forgot about him lol and lets foces on the baby fish its was little now big and fat
