A spawning pair of angelfish usually needs an aquarium to themselves. They will defend their eggs against other fish and will fan them to keep off fungus. In a few days, fertile eggs will show signs o...

Your aquarium is large enough to easily house eight juvenile angelfish and let them pick spawning partners. Each pair will then need its own aquarium of at least 100 litres. A...
You can put more angelfish in the 130, but I'm not sure the silver dollars are compatible.
Congratulations on the new aquarium. Angelfish are my favorites, but they're quite a bit of trouble.
Juvenile angelfish are not too bad in a community tank, but as they mature they will make a meal of smaller fish. They also tend to become very aggressive.

People sometimes use hydrogen peroxide to prevent fungus from growing on angelfish eggs that are being hatched away from the parent fish.

When they mature, angelfish are not good community fish. In addition, they need 82 degree water.
I think Achintya may have meant that you should gradually raise the water temperature. Angelfish are sensitive to any rapid changes.
Maybe if I take enough pictures I can start a blog on raising angelfish to include any problems and successes I encounter.

How does the finger look now? Spawning angelfish also bite, although they usually don't draw blood. Male Bettas are aggressive by nature.
Do angelfish fry eat planeria (don't know if I spelled it right tiny white worms)? I think that it comes from overfeeding, doesn't it?
Adult angelfish need a fairly large aquarium, and to keep them healthy you should change about 1/4 of the water every week. Otherwise, the tank can get a buildup of toxic ammonia.
Being an angelfish nut, I can't help much with algae eaters, but I can suggest looking them up on Google. To be healthy, most aquarium fish require certain water parameters, so a little research ...
When angelfish spawn, they will bite your finger pretty hard even if you're feeding them. It's interesting to see how they protect their eggs and fry and how they cope with their environment...
