hi,

Up to now I have been using the rule: one inch of fish per gallon.

How many inch does a full grown angelfish take?

I have still room in my tank for about 30 inch of fish. How many angelfish can I add in order to fully stock my tank (using this rule of thumb)

(My tank is contains approx 100 gallons of water)

thx,

Angels get between 5 - 6 inches. I kept 2 of them in my 20g for years. Just don't keep them with fin nippers and you should be fine with 4 - 5 of them. What other tank inhabitants do you have?

i have 2 angels in my 29 gal tank. also 1 clown loach and 2 algae eaters. my angels definitely run the tank tho.

someone suggest guaramies might be a nice addition, so i might check into those. the middle of my tank looks pretty sparse.
