Anyone running 250w Radium 20kk on coil and core ballast ?

Anyone running these on these ballasts ?

I've had a real time with this bulb switch. I tried Iwasaki on each end, AB 10kk in the middle. I can live with the AB for sure, nice lamp, but I am selling the Iwasaki's locally already, on day 2......

I can't get the AB here, it was PRICEY. Back to the drawing board....

You tried the Ushio 10kk before, right? Ushio used to be the mfg'er for AB in USA. What about the 12kk Sunburst? That may work with the 6.5kk.

No comparison between the Ushio bulbs I bought (and returned) and the single AB I just got. It is sweet, maybe blue as my 12kk, but the intensity is nice, and it is a nice white light.

I have the Sunburst 12kk, and they cannot begin to cut the yellow off the Iwasaki. Everything has done well with the Sunburst, I think this was the third run for me. But the intensity drops off dramatically at 7-8 months and I only run them 10 or so hours daily. Not to say I won't end up back with them again lol..

Dana Riddle has reported that the 20kk will drop even faster, like 3 months. This is part of the reason why I myself have not upgraded to 400w bulbs yet.
