Hello.
I just wondered if anyone knows if you can get electric heaters for a Bath you already have?
Can you get anything like the heaters you have in tropical aquariums that keeps the water warm, or heats it to the level you require?
And are there any Spa heaters as well?
Cheers

How stupid can you get? Electrocuting a fish is a chance you take.

As for aquarium heaters, the problem is that they are designed to be fixed in one place (usually constructed of a glass tube) and they operate from ac voltage. There are titanium submersible aquarium heaters (no glass), but these still run off of ac voltage, and even with a GFI, I would be hesitant about sharing a bath with them. You need something which is somewhat portable (unbreakable) and preferably operates on dc voltage, or has been designed specifically for this application (SPA heaters?).
It might be worthwhile to check the insulation between the tub and the floor & walls. If there is none, you could shoot some expanding foam in.
