Hey all

Its been a while since ive posted because theres been no problems haha...

I now have 2 Cichlids in my 10 gallon and they've been doing great for almost 2 months now.

Gonna upload some pics once I find the wire to hook my phone upto my computer...

The Oscar actually nibbles on my finger, and I can actually feed him pellets with my fingers.

I'm not too sure of the species of the purple one...because theres a whole bunch of them that look just like it

that one is the tiger oscar.oscars are indeed very much masterloving fish...not only the oscars even the flower horn or discus are same.they also take food from someones hand..even for my discus when i feed they come closer to my hand and i catch them.

Have you determined gender? You could have a problem with two males.

no i havent looked much into it

the oscar occasionally chases the other one around but it ends there...no fights or anything so far

I have an oscar tank with 6 in. In the wild they live in quite large numbers so as long as youve got at least 50gallons per oscar you should be fine. Sexing oscars is actually nearly impossible, Theirs some suggestion about the the poo hole is but its very sceptical on that.
