Breeding Marbel Hatchet Fish

Does any body know how to breed Marbel Hatchet fishes and how to recognize male and female please?step by step expalination will be appreciated.thanks.

Welcome to our forum! I don't have personal experience with hatchetfish, so I checked on Google. Some interesting facts about the species: they are jumpers, so cover your aquarium; they are schooling fish and do better in groups; males and females look the same, but a gravid female will sometimes show a big tummy; they spawn in bushy floating plants, and their eggs hatch in about 30 hours. Hatchetfish are considered somewhat difficult to spawn.

Since personal experience is always helpful, I hope another, more knowledgeable aquarist will provide additional details.
