The forum administrator is usually very responsive to requests from members, and the management team pays attention to things posted in the CONTACT section, which can be accessed in the lower right column. That said, I'm not sure how much work is involved in adding a chat room. As for recent topics, a short list appears at the bottom of the home page. Since we're growing, it may be a good idea to make the list longer.
