How do I clean the hard water rings from the inside of the tank with out scratching it?
It is a hard plastic..... I believe.
Also is there a way to clean the debre from under the under gravel filter with out taking the betta out and dumping the gravel out every time(Full tank clean job)?
Or should I just empty and clean all every time??

You may have to try one of the on-line stores, but they do make cleaning pads and scrapers specifically for acrylic aquariums. While you're in the store or looking at the catalog, get an aquarium syphon hose. The intake end will have a much larger diameter than the output end. This reduces the suckemup power and lets you clean the gravel without syphoning it out. Once a week, you should take out about 25 percent of the water and replace it with fresh, conditioned water at a similar temperature. Dumping out and replacing all the water at once will shock the fish.

on the uptakes for the undergravel filter you should be able to take the top off of the uptake tube. Then you could take a length of airline hose and slip it down the uptake and into the undergravel "grid". (This is going to sound gross but it works) Suck on the other end of the hose like a straw to start the suction. Make sure you then put that end in a bucket! If you move around the end that is in the "grid" you should be able to get a good amount of "gunk" out from under the gravel with out "open tank surgery" as I like to call it! hope that helps.

Thanks. That's a great suggestion. Until fairly recently, I used a clear hose and the inhale method to start the syphon. I still think all those aquarium bottom water cootie cocktails gave me a bad case of MTS.

Wow!

What a great idea! I'll have to try that!

Thanks!
