any suggestions to make a DIY co2 diffuser?
currently i'm using a airstone to release a co2 from diy co2 system. the released bubbles go through dense cabonba leaves & breaks into very small bubbles by the time it reaches top of the tank. hence i'm concluding the co2 dissolves well in water (considering the size of the bubbles at the time when its released from the airstone, and the size when it passes throu the leaves and reaches the top). this is my home made diffuser.
can anyone suggest something better?
Cigarette filter is a very good diffuser
rohan, that's a splendid idea. how do i use the filter though ??
Did you redirect the air pipe of the coy generator to your filter?
No. i've used a air-stone to release the co2 in the tank.
Then what are you asking about the filter? Didn't get you
dude.. filter is the cigerette filter u suggested to be used as a co2 diffuser !!
When I ran my DIY co2 setup, I put the air tube right into the intake valve on my internal filter. It chopped the bubbles into little specs and shot them all over the tank.
Never had any luck with the air stone diffuser.
Finally I upgraded to a Hagen Co2 Diffuser.
+1 chaos. i think i'will do the same
i know this is an older post but it may help someone.
Co2 diffuser using a small pump and old pill bottles.
