Okay... well prepare yourselves for a long story haha....

about a week ago i was surfing Craigs list and i happened to click on moving sales.
in a large list of items is see "fish tank"
thats all it said no details or nothing. So I call the number and ask him about it, he said he had no idea how big it was or anything all he said the it was like three feet and had a stand. My dad lives in the town next to where it was so tonight he picked it up and dropped it off here a my house for me. Well I was excited...

so it's a 20g high
with the light
also with a hood
a huge filter not sure how many gpg
filter has built in heater
also metal stand
background
and a python with a weird attachment at the end.

all for fifty bucks!!
so he brought it over and i set it up tomorrow I'm gonna set it up and begin the cycling process. I'm gonna have a nice big tank for Angela's rainbow fish. Those bows are gonna be so happy!

Grats on the new setup!

I've never seen a filter with a heater in it... That sounds interesting.

I've sent 12 baby preacox and 5 Bristlenose fry yesterday to northern MO.

I'll let you know how they did.

Congratulations on your find. That funny looking thing on the end of the Python is most likely the pump. One end of it screws into a standard hose or faucet fitting, and the other end is a valve. To have it suck up water, lower the valve and give it about a quarter of a turn. To dispense water, do just the opposite. The suckemup end also has a valve that actually looks like a valve. During the fill stage, the system will be under pressure, so make sure all the fittings are snug. I forgot one time and ended up with a water spout in the kitchen.
