I love the idea of the large tank with a school of little bitty fish! I really like the schooling effect!
That's an interesting fish as well as an example of selective breeding going too far. I doubt the poor thing could live in the wild.

Malabar/pea/dwarf puffers are fresh water fish they actually dont do to good in brackish water.
...a little more reading. The first home aquarium I ever saw was set up like that with nothing but gravel, fish and plants....

If that photograph is not turned up side down, the fish is very sick. In fact, the clamped tail fin also indicates a problem. Have you checked all the water parameters?

I have one like that a fncy angel, fish mine is a male! The other I've got is silver wit black stipes! have a nice day :wink:

He looks very much like my betta, Zephyr. Very similar coloring. Beautiful fish. I think I'll try to take a picture of Zephyr, and see if he does the same thing!
