i mixed my fish food today its the tetra tropical flakes and some shrimp flakes? is that ok?
Fish r Friends, not food, unless its salmon

Obviously sir. If the food is edible, what would make you think they would become toxic if you mixed them up? If it was a liquid that would be a different story.

if your fishes are like to take a special type of food then why you mix some other food with it?

Some time ago, I had a recipe for DIY fish food. It used Pablum, ground up dry cat food, and even some shrimp flakes and other stuff made as regular fish food. Of course, you could not use it to feed wet cats or irregular fish.

One way to add variety to the Betta's diet is to occasionally feed frozen foods like adult brine shrimp.
