Guess what??? Some exciting news...
I just went out back to look at my pond & feed my fish. I have two gorgeous pearscale Koi..and the rest are fantails..orange & calico. Real pretty too.
Sooo...as I am throwing in some pond pellets...I see these little babies swimming around.
COOL!!!
Apparently either the KOI have spawned or the fantails..not sure which.
It has to of happened a few weeks ago since these are already around an inch.
Made my day !! ::

Awww, more baby fishies . That's really cool. Are you able to get any pics or is it too difficult with pond fish?

That is awesome! I have the small pond but I think the mosquito fish eat the babies. I don't keep koi any longer since the grey herron always get in there and steal them.. expensive lunch. But I have some other types of goldfish, forget their names but they are red/blue and black markings and are about 6 - 8 inches alreay. I have more than I started with, but I also have pleco's in the pond and they are really big.
