Not a question just an annoyance-
I really wish guppies had a longer life span..
Ive lost 3 now through old age my fav male and a female and now another female
She was pregnant as usual lol but sadly didnt labour first. She was old and already a bit bent through pregnancy and age and obviously couldnt cope. 2 other females i have wont be far behind.
Hate that when u buy adults u dont get long. May hunt out some babies instead so at least get longer!
Such pretty fish yet u barely get fo enjoy them!

I am so sorry for ur loss

i have 2 right now, and one just looks old to me i don't know if it is.. because despite all the fish being fine its looks a little shaky and doesn't eat.. its a male..

i am a beginner, what is the average life span of these pretty fish by the way?

My male who was constantly harrasing females died quite young,no other symptoms/problems so i put it to age.. Think he tired himself out!! Also where a lot of guppies are inbred they are probe to genetic problems so that can cause there life span to be shorter..

Pretty sure all my females were.. They all developed the bent spine which is a sign of genetic problems
