hey guys my name is sandro and im new in the forum! a little about me, I LOVE ANIMALS and more aquatic animals!

I have a 10 gallon aquarium with
2 small turtles
5 Zebra Danios
8 small feeders
2 oranges tetras
and some ghost shrimps
my turtles are used to live with them
they dont try to eat them or nothing
but i have a question my tank is getting dirty realy quick i have to clean it every week...so im not sure how to maintaned clean.... should I empty it and clean it or just clean it like that?

well im assuming you have a filter, otherwise GET ONE

and you should be performing water changes at least once a week anyway, but if your tank is still getting dirty real quick, try introducing some snails or a loach, as they will both help to keep your tank clean because they feed on algae

Welcome to our forum.

Your aquarium may be a little over crowded. You should avoid over feeding and make sure to change about 25 percent of the water every week. You can feed the fish twice a day but no more than they eat in a couple of minutes. For the partial water changes, aquarium shops sell a syphon arrangement that has a large diameter tube at the uptake end. This lets you syphon out debris without sucking up the gravel substrate. To replace the water just removed, get tap water to about the same temperature as the aquarium water, and add a good conditioner like Stress Coat.
