How big are the tiger barbs now? roughly?

i'm guessing about an inch a year growth would be normal for a fish with an average adult size of 3-3.5", but again this would depend on feeding, and in some ways the parent fish they were bred from.

Also the conditions in your tank may affect how quick they grow too, including your feeding regimen for your tank.

How many of them have you got? these fish like to school.

I was told that that tiger barbs in the wild are usually bigger 3-3.5 inch, and in aquariums usually 2-2.5 inches on average although have been known to be as big as the wild versions, from time to time depending on conditions they are kept in etc.

I'd still estimate a year to get to full size most likely though depending on conditions.
