How long will my fish survive without power? Just found out the power will be out from 9am til 2pm later this week for maintenance. Anyway I have a 29gal tank with 3 1"zebras, 3 2"corys, 1 2" platy, 1 3" mollie and a 3" gold gouromi. I can't afford a battery powered filter. Thank you

Wrap your tank in a thick blanket for insulation. It will keep the water warm for longer.
Every so often stir up the water with a net or glass cleaner, to provide more oxygen.
If you keep the fishtank well cared for in the event of a power outage, your fish can last for 1-2 days.
I get a lot of power outages in winter.

The fish you mention will swim up to the top for air if they need air , dont know what kind of zebras you have ? Keep a eye on your filter pump . make sure it purge back up , for it wont burn up on you , i usualy unplug mine when power goes out and plug it back in and watch if it needs help purgeing back up when power comes back on
