I am new to big tanks and I really want to do things right.
I have a 55 gallon tank with live plants, driftwood and large rocks on substrate for plant growth.
My fish are: 4 angels/2 clown loach/2 molly/ 3 guppies/2 swordtail/ 4 octo/3 platys/ 3 cory.
I do regular water changes.
Are my fish numbers OK?
I don't have any experience with Angel Fish, but everything looks compatible except the Mollies. They are a fish that requires salt in the tank which will not be benefitted by the other inhabitants.
From what I've heard on this forum - I know that Angels can become aggressive towards other fish if you have a spawning pair. Which will definitely cause problems for the other tank members.
Also, they clown loaches will get rather large over a period of time so you may think about relocating some of the smaller fish down the road.
Thanks so much. I am actually planning to rehome the Molly if I can just catch him.
