How would i know if my mollies are mating the 2 that i have a white one and a dalmation one keep swimming around in circles with each other always following each other and swimming underneath each other im not sure how to tell if there male/female please can someone help thanks

If you have a mature male and female molly in a healthy environment, they're making more mollies.

LOL Johnarthur is correct. I call it "The Sex Dance" between my male creamcicle molly and my female dalmatian molly. He is CONSTANTLY kissing by her anal fin and she'll swim away, he'll find her, and it's back and forth.

Mollies are live-bearers which, in my research & experience, means they LOVE mating and want to do it all the time.

<email> -bearers have a gonopodium which is a skinny form of the female's anal fin. Here's a picture:

See how the male (in front) has a stick shaped fin where the female's (back) in more of a fan shape?
