Depends on the type of goldfish and their age and size. The less, the better!!! Please read this link for more information and ask any questions you may have!

I'm not sure but I had the same one and I had as much as 8 but than again I had other fish in their too

2 fancy goldfish could go in a 55 gal. comets , commons and shubunkins get too big for that.

Didnt see that this was a dogs age... thats why its good for others to not post on old thread.s
