Is there any way you would be able to make a thing to where when we have a private message, a notification pops up when you come here?

There is the moving icon of the envelope on the top right.
From this question I learn it's hardly seen...

Yes, I miss it sometimes because I don't notice it. I was wondering about maybe a little box that pops up in front of your face that tells you you have a private message and has an ok/cancel (to see it) option. If you don't think it's a good idea, no worries!

I think it's a great idea, though I'm not sure about pop-ups.

It's doesn't technically come up as a pop up. I am also on a betta fish forum, and my pop up blocker doesn't block it, but it blocks everything else.
