you can use terramycin sf or mox 250 capsule.for terramycin sf capsule give 1 capsule now.after 6 hours change 30% water and give that capsule again. then after 12 hours change 30% water again and give 1 capsule again...then after 24 hours change 30% again...that's the dose of terramycin sf capsule...
N.B.-> i use this capsule for my discus fish and i was successful for curing fungus disease...
If you live in the US, you can get Pimafix and Melafix, which are all natural, so they won't kill your good bacteria.
Are you sure it's fungus and not ich?
Coppersafe might also work, but don't use it if you have snails or shrimp
Before using any medications, make sure the aquarium has zero ammonia and nitrite. Anything more than zero will make the fish sick and vulnerable to diseases and parasites.
One of the reasons I always recommend Pimafix and Melafix. I did pwc's every day because mine wasn't cycled and I had sick fish.
Very good point.
I had a calico baby telescope that was sick and had white spots and his and scales looked raggidy. He was very sick and lay at bottom. Besides ick I wasn't sure what other agent of fungus or bateria, or parasite he might have since I rescued from Walmart. But I can tell you that I used Maracyn 2 since it said it cured several agents of disease. After a day I saw him improve. Second day he began eating and spitting out. Third day he ate flakes and peas. He is well now after a few days. Maracyn 2 you have to remove the carbon from filter, but Maracyn does not color your aquarium. This is a really young fish I treated, I mean really a baby and I was not sure if he could handle the meds, but he did just fine and is well and happy right now in a tank with two other baby telescopes.
