i have many of my aquraium snails laying eggs i have many at different stages how long does it take till they hatch and will i have to move them to another take?

2 Weeks to hatch. If you have too many snails, they will overwhelm your biofilter. Each snail add to it.

It can take 2-4 weeks for snail eggs to hatch, depending on the species. It's best to leave snail eggs where they are. Fish don't seem to bother them.

Snails actually contribute very little to an aquarium's bioload. They do not produce ammonia waste like fish and they eat foods that tend to be low in nutrients. An aquarium can sustain many more snails than it can fish.

I am so glad you said that. I have found that to be true over time too despite so many people saying otherwise.

I had a situation where I was unable to reduce common snails in a couple of tanks for a while and the numbers went out of control.

Those tanks were the healthiest and the most balanced of all of my tanks.

I eventually got back to schedule to remove some of them, but it really didn't seem to do much negative at all like I was so concerned about!
