is stress coat a good treatment for youe aquarium
stress coat is when you get new fish or move your fish or do any thing to stress them, you put it in there to help them feel comfortable.
Stress Coat Plus is a very good tap water conditioner that treats for chlorine, chloramine, toxic nitrogen compounds and heavy metals. It also contains aloe to help the protective slime coat that all fish need. It and similar water conditioners are intend for use in setting up new aquariums and doing partial water changes. Be sure to read the label for uses, precautions and dosing instructions.
Thanks for your answer I have a giant bottle and spending alot of money so I want to get away with it then I will use prime .Thanks
That was a year old posting, and the latest version of Stress Coat does not treat toxic nitrogen compounds. I still prefer it to more potent tap water treatments; anything that neutralises toxic nitrogen compounds does so only temporarily, and it can produce inaccurate test results. Regular Stress Coat gets the job done without overdoing things.
