These are the juvenile gold angelfish Johnarthur gave me yesterday. They are mixed in with four of my juvie smokies.
John, the little guys have settled in very nicely. They are voracious little eaters. I imagine they should grow rapidly in the 55 gallon I put them in.

I think they look nice against the blue substrate, makes them stand out. I've never had any luck with Angel fish, I will stick with my puffers. Good luck with them Megham.

Angelfish are not the easiest to raise, but then neither are puffers.

Puffers aren't too bad once you know what they need. They are very rewarding fish. They are very intelligent, and sometimes I'm not sure that's a good thing in a fish! But they are funny and they make me smile.

well my 30 was getting crowded and now i have my two angels and my puffer together with like 15 mollies in my 130g and they're getting along actually Im considering more angels.
If you don't run your own life, somebody else will.

When they mature, the angelfish will become aggressive. They also need a water temperature of about 82.

Most puffers don't generally want it that warm.

The only time I put the water temperature up high is when I've got a whitespot (Ich) problem, but that's temporary and I put the temp back down as soon as I can.

discus need 30 deg temp where as angel need 28 deg temp...i think all of u agree with me..this is the standard temp for keeeping discus and angel fish..
