Hi,my name is Megan and I suffer from MTS. It all started with one community fish tank. The angelfish started breeding and you can guess the rest.

I was stricken back in the 1950s when aquariums had stainless steel frames and slate bottoms. Now most of my hair has fallen out, and I feel like old slate bottom himself. If I lean back too far in this chair, I run into another aquarium, and it's impossible for me to pass up a yard sale that has fish tanks. Many people blame the MTS affliction on raising angelfish, but I still think mine was caused by ingesting aquarium bottom water cooties whilst starting a syphon using the venerable suck and duck method.

Help me, Bullwinkle J. Moose. You're the only one i can turn to now. bleepbleepbleep!

Hi Meg!

My name is Angela and I also suffer from MTS.

I'm actually inventing new ways of lighting my tanks... The hood and light thing is so expensive.

My husband just put together a new 4' flourescent light that I put over the 4 10 gallon tanks on my kitchen counter...

Then he complained about the electric bill... for the first time... accusing my measly 18 tanks for something! Come ON!!!!

How unfair! All those aquarium heaters and lights save on utility bills by keeping the house warm. Or do they?
