    Are you using tap water or RO? Very Happy

    I think this is a lot of CO2 + trimming effect. RO water would have left the plants without nutrition.

    The only reason I ask is because I do not see much algae. Unlike my tank, I force a lot of c02 into it, enough so I do not kill my fish, but my water is horrible.

    Sorry for not replying - I only now saw your reply.
    Anyway, you probably have algae since you don't have enough plants for the amount of CO2/minerals you have on your water.
    Try planting more plants, give it 2-3 weeks and the algae will be gone (had the same problem).
