Hello everybody, I think I need help again. Two days ago I found one of my spotted Corry's dying in my tank he looked very little and shriveled up compare to the other ones. Today I made a 25% water change and I found another one floating on the top, alive. Every time he tries to swim to the bottom he floats right back up to the top. I made a water test and it was fine. I feed my fish manley frozen food like brine shrimp, bloodworm and mysis shrimp. I wonder if this is why. What can I do with my Corry that is floating on the top? I don't have a sick tank. Help please

Cory cats also need vegetables. Try giving them an algae wafer every few days. You said the water parameters were OK, but have you tested for ammonia? Not all test kits check for ammonia; it's a very important test that generally uses a reagent and test tube. I suspect ammonia, because you're feeding quite a bit of frozen food, and it can really turn bad if it doesn't get eaten. For proper nutrition, the fish need a quality staple flake food once a day. The frozen foods are more like a treat. For quite a few years, I've been feeding a good flake food in the morning and frozen brine shrimp in the evening.

You can try the boiled de-shelled peas. Just boil them, and pop the middle out, and mush a little. It's a laxative for them.
