what should i do with it? keep in mind there will be 1 female betta in the tank to

i have used my display 10 gallon as a male betta tank with soil/sand/gravel/rocks/ and tons of plants with newly added tetras with the betta but had to switch the bettas (with a short finned fighter type) because they where nipping at my first male (LONG finned)

Male Bettas with lots of long, flowing fins are bad swimmers and often get attacked by smaller, faster fish.
