I stumbled across this site while looking for something else entirely different. I looked around and liked what I saw, so I signed up.

I have had fish in the house since 1970. There have been a few times when I would not have time and empty out the tanks, but the addiction is deep, and I could only stand to be fishless for about three months.

In my obsessive phase, I had 27 tanks set up in a 7 room house. Barely had room for the tv. I did come up with some ingenious ideas for stands though.

At present I have a 55 gallon tank with one Jack Dempsey. He is a total pet with tail wagging and begging for food.

I look forward to reading and learning from this site. Who knows, maybe I will even be able to help someone.
Some days it doesn't seem worth chewing trough the restraints.

As one long time fish keeper to another, let me be the first to welcome you to our forum. I'm sure your experience will be a benefit to all of us, so please feel free to start new topics and comment on old ones. Why not tell us about some of your creative aquarium stands.

WOW 27 TANKS!!!i only have 5 (and one that needs to be resealed) and a ton of smaller things (for bettas)AND WELCOME!!!!

You have what is referred to as MTS
( multiple tank syndrome)..and you have it bad my friend !! ...hehehehe
Don't feel bad..many of us have it too!!
It doesn't go away!!

Hi,

Welcome to the site. I am new too and trying to manuver my way around. I have fancy guppies, Blue Diamond, to be specific, also goldfish and koi in the outside pond.
