Hi Ronaldo...WELCOME !!
I just replied to your other post..and asked what type of fish you have...sorry..didn't see this one.
How many of these do you have in this 125 gal.?
Unless your PH is outta sight ( over 8.0)..I would NOT be using chemicals to lower it for Oscars, Jacks or Pacus.
This is a large tank you have..
BUT these are gonna be HUGE So. Americans.
They are hardy fish that adapt VERY well.
We have them in at our Local fish shop (where I have worked) in a PH of 7.8..and they thrive.
You are probably already aware of this..but your Oscar is going to get around a foot( Needing at least 55 gal. alone)..and that Pacu could reach 3 ft. easy. (needing OVER 1/2 that 125 gal. space).
You may have people tell you that fish only grow according to the tank size.."not true"!!
I personally LOVE Jack Dempseys..they are sooo pretty.
Be aware though..the Oscar...or the Pacu...once they get larger..may end up killing it/them.
JD's..are only going to be around 8 inches or so.
So..even tho this is a 125 gal...
with the fish you have..it is gonna be VERY "tight" after awhile with the species of fish you have.
