i have had these for a while. yesterday i bought 2 more. after i added them to the main tank, it seemed one of the new ones was swimming on its sides. i was pretty bummed. i thought it wont make it. anyhow, this morning it seemed okay and was swimming with the other three. so i paid a little more attention and realized that the torpedoes i had from the past had the same behavior. they all swim a little bit on one side. i thought this was uniques. of course they can swim straight when they want to....but they are just leisurely lying (swimming) around they swim a bit tilted onto their left side.

let me know if this is what you have seen, or it is something i am dead wrong on.

i still dont think the new fishes are out of the woods for another 2-3 weeks.

I have no experience with the Rosaline Torpedo, but that behavior does not seem normal. Maybe they were stressed by moving them to your aquarium. A stressed immune system is fairly common when fish are taken home from the aquarium shop.

I think they have a slight case of swimbladder. My fish used to do that but now they are fine.

did you do anything special to fix that, or it went away on its own. i gave the fish frozen shrimp today and all were eating it aggresively. so 48 hrs later they are doing okay...fingers crossed

No I did not do anything special. I just gave them frozen food for a few days such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and spirulina. None of those flake foods.

Make sure you do not feed the fish too much. They can go for at least a week without eating, but they will be sick if aquarium conditions (water parameters) are not right.

ok. i feed them once a day and make sure no food collects at the bottom. the two new torpedoes are happy to eat the food. and swimming vigorously.
