I am wondering if it wiould be a good idea to get another goldfish/koi for my 10 gal.I already have one koi that is very small.I want to get another goldfish if i can.I also have a 3gal that is ready for a fish of some sort.

Since all of the fish are small right now, a couple of companions would not hurt. However, you should be ready to get a much larger aquarium when the fish mature. The general rule is one inch of fish for one gallon of aquarium. Since goldfish eat quite a bit and produce lots of waste, you should keep your aquarium well under the one inch rule.

hm i agree with you mr john...when you have a pair of koi you have to take more precautions to make your aquarium clean..and at the same time when the koi become big in size provide them a bigger aquarium...so that they can grow very well...
