I want to get 6 panda corys and I understand that the barbels on them are prone to injury with sharp objects. The substrate I have in my tank is echo-complete. With this substrate do you think that the corys will be ok or not

I believe that they will be. I have 4 corys in my tank with a substrate of flourite red. They have been in there for a little over a month and no problems. I wouldnt worry.

As long as you don't have sharp gravel... You'll be just fine.

In my experience, Pandas are more delicate than say, Albinos or Bronze.

I really love them though, and hope to get more someday.
