The smoky is a female and is named Snickers. The black one is a male and is named Tango. They throw blushing and non blushing varieties. These include smoky, silver, black lace, smokey lace, zebra, and silver ghost. They have standard fin babies as well as veil and superveil. I am very pleased with their offspring. From what I have seen so far, this young pair will likely end up being parent raisers. They made it to wiggler stage last time.

Please let me know if one or two of the juvies looks like it might be a black veil.

The closest I have to black veil are two that appear to be very dark smoky lace. The dime size one is darker than the quarter size one. If you are interested I would be willing to give them to you. I am probably going to drop some of them off at the fish store in Phoenix today(if they want them). That might be a good time to make a switch. Here are a couple photos. The camera lightened their color a bit and gave them a greenish hue. It also shows some of the underlying smoky markings.

I usually try to select some juvies from most batches and put them together to pair off. A couple of dark veils added to the group would be nice.

In that case, these two are yours. I will bring them with me when the golds are ready.
