Penguin 330 Help, dead

I have a marineland penguin 330 and power went off at the house, box emptied overnight, power came back on, and it burned out the motor. What do I need to buy, I know I can get a impeller at the store, or does the whole thing need to be replaced?

Try cleaning out the impeller area...I like to take a brush to mine every once in awhile. It may just be that sediment got in there and is gumming it up... If it really burnt out..you'll have to replace the 'motor' at the least. It's a wire coil and if it burnt out it can't easily be fixed.

If it's the 'motor' you will need to buy a new filter. The Penguin filters have the motor built in and not replaceable.
