Hey guys help i got two pregnant jewels now i am very worried abt this...This is my first time. i never have done breeding before help me..suggest me what can i do my jewel fish tummy look swollen..when i brought them there tummy was not swollen/enlarge now i get two jewel with swollen/enlarge..arey they going to lay eggs or its a false aram...

Do you have any male fish or only the two females? They probably won't lay eggs unless there is a male in the tank. Actually you'll need two males, one for each female. How large is your tank?

i have one male n two females..my breeding tank is abt 30 gallons..if i put my pair in 10 gallon tank for giving birth to eggs only.. then i remove parents after tht????..pls suggese me for this also..i made tht 10 gallon for breeding purpose and for frys only...this is better option to keep them in 10 g tank or not...

It's been close to 20 years since I had Jewel cichlids spawn, but from what I can remember: Use the 10 gallon as planned. Remove the male after the female is done laying the eggs. You can leave the female in the tank until after the fry are free swimming. Good luck!
