Right Planning Goes A Long Way
I have learned about aquariums and fish the hard way. Like many others I’ve seen some fish that I really liked and just decided on an average tank with “reasonable” equipment. Sure I had to learn the hard way which fish functioned perfectly and which were always dying for some reason.
In fact the problems only started when I reached the stage of adding fish to the tank as the pet shop owner really helped me during the beginning stages.
But no one is happy forever with a simple stable aquarium, at least I wasn’t and with time I started to changed things including the tank itself and the equipment.
There is nothing wrong with growing and learning this way but if you spend much more time learning and searching the fish that you’d like to have and their need you might be able to build the whole thing much better.
If you have an idea of the place you want to get to you’ll have an easier time getting there. It can be growing and learning like I did or it can be building the right tank from the start. It all depends on what your goals are.
If you do need an advice on how to plan in advance and buy the right tank, equipment and fish that can serve you for the long term you might want to read this post as it has all the right stages or as it said a little planning saves a lot pf problems along the way.
