Hi guys,

Someone I know dropped me a word about us not having a search feature.

Anyone here thinks this is important?

Wouldn't it be a bit complicated to set up a search by topic feature? So long as we cal pull up lists of topics, we're probably OK.

I'll see if I can come up with something without too much work.

Personally, I would like to have a search feature. It makes it easier to find a helpful old post when I have forgotten where to find it.

I have to agree with Meg on this one. As the forum grows, and the archives get So big... it's really easier if you remember a key word and can just search it out...

Thanks!

Wow! I really like the "popular topics" addition. Thanks. Has it always been in the blog section and maybe I just missed it, or am I actually paying attention? I think it would also look good on the home page.

I knew you'd like it
I want to finish some more things related to it, and I'll put it somewhere more dominant.

Do you think this would answer the search needs?

I think it would, but other forum members may have more to say. I'm having fun just browsing through list.

I'd also like to see a complete blog list.

Not sure I've got you - what do you mean by a [/i]complete blog list[/i]?
A place in which you can see all the blog posts in a chronological order? (or grouped by subjects)?

I don't believe that it really matters. Maybe just like a google search ya know. Type in the word or words and it brings up thoses items in a list. Oh hell chronological sounds good for that. But i do believe that it would be a wise descision.

It seems that an alphabetical list would be useful in researching subjects. Of course, the person making the list would have to name the topic. For example, "About The Nitrogen Cycle" should probably be listed as CYCLE or NITROGEN CYCLE.
