Shark Tanks? Better Know What You Are Doing

Found a really important post by Jason on the Cephalopodcast about people that insist on having shark tanks while knowing almost nothing about them.

If you do want to have a shark tank make sure you know the price, the needs and the conditions that the sharks needs in captivity.

Shark don’t make a very good pet and sure it is something to brag about but not really an aquarium friendly pet.

I can join Jason recommendation on the book Aquarium Sharks and Rays to educated yourself if you decide to have a shark tank after all.

I’ve seen very few shark tanks but none of them lasted for a very long time, the cost of the sharks, the costs of the food and just the sharks habits of panicking and banging his head on the glass.
