Okie doke. So my tanks are completely infested with snails. I've heard some people say 'get loaches' but the kuhli's I got aren't doing much at all. I've also heard people say 'never use those snail killing chemicals' but I've never really heard why.

Any other ways of getting rid of -all- the snails (without restarting the entire tank)? Thoughts on snail chemicals?

That's -really- good to know. That tank is packed with plants.

Once snails populate an aquarium, you can't get rid of them without killing everything in the tank. You can, however, control their population. The best way I've found is to lure them by floating a piece of lettuce. They seem to prefer the white, bitter tasting parts of the leaf. After a few days, carefully remove the lettuce, and dump it in your garden. A few weeks of this will remove most of the snails. A reasonable number of snails can help an aquarium system stay well balanced, so don't go overboard, and don't use chemicals.
