Phoenix is starting to warm up; by next month, the desert wildflowers will be in bloom. We get an early Spring here, and although it has nothing to do with aquariums, Spring always reminds me of one of my favorite poems from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, who was a Persian scholar/poet/philosopher born in 1048. From memory, here's the poem:
Come fill the cup and in the fire of Spring,
Your Winter garment of repentance fling.
The bird of time has but a little way to flutter,
And the bird is on the wing.
No doubt, the poem means different things to people of different ages and backgrounds, but that's what a good poem is about. Enjoy!
