I have purchased Rocks from my garden store, Slate, shale mostly. No lime stone. I have tested all with vinegar and they don't fizz. I have soaked in HOT water for hours and scrubbed with steel . and now have them curing in bleach. After which I will rinse and soaked again with De-Chlorinizr (AmQuel) to remove any remaining Bleach.
Are they ready for the tank at that time? Or is there something else I should do?

Wow, you could start using those rocks for dishes. I think you have gone above and maybe even a little beyond your duty to clean up those rocks. More fish should be as lucky as yours to have such clean rocks placed in their tank. Keep up the good work!.
