Not quite....... Just pondering the thought of having a salt water fish... clown fish for example....more specific, a clown fish fry... and as he grows older in the same tank not adding any salt....after about 7 years would he be able to survive in freshwater or at least brackish??? I can't believe it would be this easy but if it is it must be easier said than done....Just wanted your opinions I don't need facts just a thought...

You can acclimate some freshwater fish to brackish water, and salmon go from saltwater to freshwater to spawn. Some species even return to the ocean after spawning.

Saltwater aquariums have to deal with quite a few water parameters, and the fish are usually expensive. I really doubt that Nemo could be converted to freshwater.
