Aquarium Picture of the Month Rules
My Aquarium Club would like to honor the photographic genius of our members by holding a picture of the month contest. All of us who love aquariums will win, and the person submitting the best photograph will have a special icon added to her or his member profile. The starting date will be August 1, and members will have all month to vote. Depending on participation, we'll have a new photo contest every month.
Since this is not intended as a fierce competition, the rules are simple:
1. Each month we will start a new topic, for example, August Picture of the Month. If you want to submit a picture, post it as a reply in this section.
2. When the voting time starts, each member can reply with a vote for the best picture. At the end of voting, we will lock the topic, count the votes and announce the winner.
3. Be sure the photograph relates to the aquarium hobby, and add a caption if you want.
4. Please submit only one photograph at a time. It makes the voting easier. By submitting the photograph, you warrant that it is your original and not copyrighted.
5. We trust you will vote only once for any particular photograph.
6. Have fun.
Members are invited to make suggestions about the rules, but we will not change Rule Six.
