Does anybody know if the thickness of a fish bowl can hinder the betta fish from getting as much oxygen as it should?

no it doesnt, as long as the water has the betta drops, it will survive. or if the drops dont work it can still breath normal air so leave a crack in the hood if u have one

Thats actually not a picture of my fish, i've been trying to load apollo's real picture on here, but it's taking forever, but I'm going to try again. I did wind up getting another fish, though, I have yet to name him though,I'm thinking though

Even though the Betta can breathe air, he still needs to get oxygen through his gills.

Clamped fins is one indication. The Betta in the picture could be OK if he is just relaxing or is moving in the water, but things like consistently clamped fins are consistent with a sick fish.
