could you tell me of tips and thrick that you learned by your own on anything related Aquariums and Fishes?

Almost everything you read in here is the result of personal experiences in the hobby, although we do occasionally make reference to other sources. One of the forum projects that I hope to complete soon is a blog about rookie mistakes. It will start with some of my own goofs and will invite other forum members to submit additions. If enough people participate, the blog could be both funny and informative.
